This insurance policy provides cover for mobile plant and machinery known as ‘Special Types’ vehicle insurance.
We cover both single vehicles and fleets of special types. Single vehicles are available through ComQuote. We can offer engineering inspection services to carry out inspections on your client's plant and machinery.
This insurance policy provides the compulsory cover required to drive a vehicle on a public highway, along with additional optional covers, including:
- Cover for injury to other people and/or damage to other people’s property
- Cover for damage to your vehicle
If ‘Fire & Theft’ cover is selected it includes cover for
- Damage to the insured vehicle caused by fire
- Theft or attempted theft of the insured vehicle
- Up to €3,000 for towing as a result of an accident
- Fire brigade charges up to €3,000
If ‘Accidental Damage’ cover is selected it includes cover for
- Accidental damage to the insured vehicle following impact
- Up to €3,000 for towing as a result of an accident
If ‘Windscreen’ cover is selected it includes:
- Repair of the windscreen following accidental breakage up to a maximum of €1,000 per vehicle per annual policy period provided that the repairs are carried out by our approved repairer, otherwise the limit is reduced to €127.
